Our ume orchard is situated near Christchurch. We grow Nanko Ume, the premier Japanese variety, without sprays on the fruit.
Steeped in sugar-based alcohol with organic sugar, our ume gives this Umeshu a delicate sweet/sour flavour with aromas of ume fruit. Great on its own or as a mixer.
